You do not have to pay for prescriptions if
•    You are under 18 and in fulltime education
•    Have a valid medical Exemption certificate (you can apply if you have certain medical conditions such as Diabetes, Epilepsy, Hypothyroidism) ask for Form FP92A from your Doctor.
•    Have a valid prepayment certificate, visit www.ppa.org.uk/ppc
•    Are named on a valid HC2 certifiacte
•    Are an NHS in-patient

The items below are supplied free
•    Medication administered at a hospital or an NHS walk in centre
•    Prescribed contraceptives
•    Medication personally administered by a GP, medication supplied at a hospital or PCT clinic for the treatment of a sexually transmitted disease
