Swine Flu
The Uk has the third highest incidence of Swine flu in the world. Most cases are mild but as yu are aware there have been some deaths. These have mainly been in people with underlying health problems
The symptoms of swine flu are a temperature over 38 degrees, muscle aches and chills, sore throat, cough, runny nose and possibly doarrhoea or vomiting.
Please heed the Government advice about hygiene(frequent hand washing and discarding of tissues appropriately) and contacting your GP by telephone in the first instance rather than presenting at the surgery if you have any concerns you may have contracted swine flu. The Health Protection Agency website gives up to date useful information for both the public and health professionals
